PERSONNEL HATCHES

Designed for the passage of personnel, these hatches can be either manually or power operated. Square, rectangular, oval, and custom shapes are available in either raised or flush configurations. Personnel hatches are often built into cargo hatches for escape routes.

Quick-acting handwheels, individual dogs, or drop bolts secure the hatch in the closed position. Operation is available from both sides or one 
side only.

Due to their weight, personnel hatches which are subject to high pressure loads often require 
some type of mechanical, electric, or hydraulic assist to aid in opening or closing.
